Hi,

I am looking for a good hosting provider for a small e-commerce website. I’ll be using PHP and MySQL.

I found a good rating list of some most known hosting providers at:
http://on-linea.com/hosting-providers-rating-review-comparison.php

I was wondering if anyone knows any other good hosting providers and if you have any good suggestions for my hosting provider hunt.

Thank you, T

There are hundreds of business Web hosting companies in the marketplace; after all, all a person needs to start one is a computer and an Internet connection. Not every provider has a track records of financial stability or a history of solid consumer reviews. Never entrust your website to a hosting provider whose stability, reliability or legitimacy are not attested to by existing customers and consumer reports. Such providers can hold your site hostage or do other kinds of harm. Also, be wary of a hosting provider in active litigation.

In Web hosting, as with other kinds of businesses, you tend to get what you pay for. Finding a reputable and responsive hosting provider may require extra diligence and cost on your part, but the time and money spent will prove to be a good investment in your business.

Cheap but highly reliable hosting solutions are offered by such companeis as dayanahost.com where you can have a yearly service for just ten bucks, and also such company as webhostgiant.com, which is offering unlimited packages for very low cost.

By the quality they are rather high, and their uptime is high as well.

Agree about that^

webhostgiant.com is the one of the cheapest reliable providers I know and considering their experience and offers they could become really good for becoming a starting up point.
