Hello friends,
What is the difference between paid search ads and PPC?
Hi Friend,
PPC stands for Pay Per click. It is a format of advertising online where you pay for clicks. It could be on any platform, like Google, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter etc. However, Paid search ads only refer to the ads you create where people search for ads on any search engine like Google or Bing.
PPC stands for pay-per-click, a model of internet marketing in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. Essentially, it's a way of buying visits to your site, rather than attempting to “earn” those visits organically. Search engine advertising is one of the most popular forms of PPC.
There are two key differences when considering SEO or PPC. The first is that paid ads appear at the top of the page, above the organic listings influenced by SEO. The second is that traffic from organic via SEO is free, whereas traffic from PPC has a cost for each click.
