There were three things I was looking for:
1) Great price
2) Great service
3) variety of tools (web development, webmail, website analysis, etc)
If you need a good VPS host, try comparing cloudarion.com , jumpline and rockhoster.com solutions. They know what they do.

I have been with centohost.com web hosting for nearly 3 months, what can i say, they are simply unbelievable.
