    Hi Friend,
    Each framework and technology is useful in their own way and specific scenarios.ASP.NET is a good platform when you consider that it provides lots of services such as state management,user profiles,easy way to hook modules,creating custom handlers relatively easily and so many others.

    ASP.NET not only provides lots of services out of the box but there are differnt frameworks such as WebForms,MVC which are based on ASP.NET.These frameworks are useful in different scenarios.
