What Is First Step of Qa?
Identification of customer need is the first step of QA after which further basic elements of QA are identified. QA depends not only on QC but also on the activities of the entire company.
Quality Assurance defines all the standards and methodologies which need to be followed to meet the customer requirements. QA involves in the whole life cycle of software development, it is performed before Quality Control
There are total 4 phases of Quality Assurance:
Plan: A plan is identified and analyzed for the correct process and to manage the quality of the product being developed. It is done to make sure that you are doing the right things. QA is responsible for the whole software development life cycle. The plan is done on the basis of data available for requirements
Do: In this phase analyzed plan is tested on a small scale to check the potential solution. It allows you to evaluate whether the planned changes achieve the desired result. The result of this phase is monitored in the next phase to make sure that the right things are being done.
Check: In this phase Monitoring of all the planned processes is done to check whether it meets the required objectives. Also if a process needs modification, that is done in this phase. The result of the potential project is analyzed against the expectations made during the planning phase. If the solution is not satisfactory and more changes are required than Do and Check phases can be repeated before moving to the next phase.
Act: To create a new baseline of the improved process/product, the required changes are implemented. If the results from the above phase meet the expectations than actions are Implemented to achieve improvements in the processes. This is not the final step of the QA process these all are performed in a loop.
