Default Yahoo mail won't let me change my password

A phishing site got my password so I have to change it immediately. I've spent a few hours trying every way, used a search engine to find help but their suggestions were ones I'd already tried. used different browsers. I get to account security where there is suppose to be a "change Password" button, but it's not there. I even went on Facebook and they gave me the same advice everyone else did. Finally she pointed me to their premium $4.99 a month site. I thought Facebook would do the trick, but no joy there. I'm longing out then back in whenever I want to use yahoo mail. I've had this address for about 20 years, never had any problems before. Anybody know the phone number of their CEO, or have any helpful advice? Thanks

Resetting a Yahoo email password is really easy if you have kept your recovery phone, email, or security questions updated. Just go to the Sign-In Helper at Yahoo (or click the Forgot Password link on the login page) and follow the instructions.

If you haven't kept your recovery options updated, then you're out of luck since there is no real support for free mail accounts.
