How stable are the servers which are offered by serverpoint company?
They offer them with the second free month.
    They seem attractive for me.

Where is the best place to purchase servers? Im not interested to go to HP, IBM, Dell, SuperMicro etc. to buy them as they are usually more expensive.

However, I need to have the flexibility to purchase the same specs all the time, not some random sale servers.

Website hosting is more accessible than ever before in the history of the internet, but not many companies are reliable and trustworthy ones.
You know, I have heard much good information and feedbacks about serverpoint.com - it has been in the web hosting services market since 1998 and it is a long period that makes me think that you can rely on them.
Many dedicated server providers reseller from them and I think that you will make good decision to buy dedicated server solution offered by this company.

Thanks for sharing and its a nice offer.
Servers are managed/unmanaged or are they charging for managing the servers?

The basic building block of automation in Final Cut Server is a “watch and respond” sequence. The system watches for an event — a change in a specified metadata field, a new file in a watched folder, or a specified time — then responds with an action or series of actions. For example, if you set Final Cut Server to watch a status metadata field for the value “Publish,” the system can immediately convert media to an output format and push the file to a broadcast server.

CTO at ServerPoint remarked, ”Redundancy and reliability remain a top priority as our company grows, and we see it as strategically important to ensure our datacenter is widely connected and capable of hosting the next generation of Web applications. Time Warner is an important addition that we have been planning for a number of months, and is among a series of new backbones we are adding.”

The addition of Time Warner ultimately provides additional redundancy and ensures greater reliability of ServerPoint’s network. Redundancy is important for enterprise datacenters to help guarantee robust performance in the event of an outage of a single or multiple backbone providers. ServerPoint now has four major backbone providers in its private datacenter facility, and the company will continue to add more providers in the coming weeks and months.

As a national Internet Service Provider (ISP) for residential and business customers, Time Warner also guarantees greater reachability across the Untied States. Time Warner’s peering agreements with other ISPs will also reduce latency for subscribers North America and abroad.

ServerPoint offers a variety of unmanaged and managed hosting services. Virtual Private Servers start at $27.99/monthly and hosted on servers utilizing 8 Intel Xeon cores, 32GBs of RAM, 8-drive RAID 10 arrays and redundant power supplies. Windows plans include 2-hour backups, Silverlight, Windows Media Server, IIS, Active Server Pages, and SQL Server Express. Dedicated servers and shared hosting are also available.

I have been using their servers for a couple years now. I have found them to be very reliable. Their customer service is pretty good too.
