What's the best place to have Java and PHP hosting service from?
Is that onlinecares (https://www.onlinecares.com/)? Or do you know better alternatives to them?

You should check the reliability and the quality of service also.
As a good alternative, can recommend gojava.net - all of their work is based on quality.
I like their java hosting (http://gojava.net/) solutions - they offer 14-day trial for $0.99 - good option to try.

I think you should have more reliable options to choose the best one. Check Aspnix (https://aspnix.com/) services. Their uptime is high, prices are low and support is helpful.

Onlinecares is a good choice IMHO as this company is good at delivering Java hosting and there is a 15% discount - JULS020.
They have stable servers and active and helpful support.
