How many keywords do you think are enough to target on a web page?

If your are goal oriented person, the keywords should be less. I think 4 to 5 are enough.
& if you are just a marketing person or trying to get just traffic you can add many keywords upto 150 words.

A couple of them will be best suited to rank a webpage in search engines. But it usually depends on the webpage content and size that you can select a variety of keywords for ranking in search engines.
