1.Right-click on My Computer and go to Properties.
2.Next click on the System Protection link.
3.The System Properties dialog screen opens up and you will want to click on Create.
4.Type in a description for the restore point which will help you remember the point at which is was created.
5.The time it takes to create the restore point will depend on the amount of data, computer speed etc.
6.All done! Now if something goes wrong you have the satisfaction knowing that you can go back in time to the point before the changes were made.

Plan on making one consistently or two only for good measure.
1. Pick Start→Control Panel→System and Security. ...
2. Tap the System Protection connect in the left board.
3. In the System Properties exchange box that shows up, tap the System Protection tab and afterward tap the Create catch. ...
4. Name the reestablish point, and snap Create.

Steps to create restore point.
1. Click the Start button. Right click Computer and choose Properties.
2. On the left-hand menu, click System protection.
3. In the System Properties window under the System Protection tab, click the Create button near the bottom of the window.
4. Enter a name to identify this restore point. Click Create.
Windows will start creating the restore point. It should take less than a minute to do, but can take longer (depending on your setup). Once it’s done, you’ll get a System Protection popup. Click Close

Click Start ( ), right-click Computer and then select Properties.
On the left side of the System window, click System protection.
Select a disk to store the restore point system files from the list, usually (C:), and then click Create.

On Windows 7, a system restore point is created automatically. This is often enough for most users. If your files have been damaged or deleted, then you can use Uneraser https://www.diskinternals.com/uneraser/ or other similar software.
