As we all know that the term VPN connection is a general term, And in the Amazon VPC documentation, a VPN connection refers to the connection between your VPC and your own network. AWS supports Internet Protocol security (IPsec) VPN connections.
Good luck!!

Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) enables you to launch Amazon Web Services (AWS) resources into a virtual network that you've defined. This virtual network closely resembles a traditional network that you'd operate in your own data center, with the benefits of using the scalable infrastructure of AWS.

VPN Connections. You can interface your VPC to remote systems by utilizing a VPN association. ... You can make an IPsec VPN association between your VPC and your remote system. On the AWS side of the VPN association, a virtual private portal gives two VPN endpoints (burrows) for programmed fail over.

A virtual private cloud (VPC) is a virtual network dedicated to your AWS account. It is logically isolated from other virtual networks in the AWS Cloud. You can launch your AWS resources, such as Amazon EC2 instances, into your VPC.
