Legionbox.com (https://legionbox.com/dedicated-servers/) and yourlasthost.com (https://www.yourlasthost.com/dedicated-servers.php) servers were advised me to try to host a forum with and I'd like to know which way is better to sign up with?
What would you do being in my place?

I've not experienced with them, I can recommend you to check with scopehosts web hosting services. They do provide SSD services, Uptime and Money Back guarantee policy on affordable web hosting solutions with quick support solutions

Touching on the point above, the first thing that needs to be determined is your individual needs and what you are looking to accomplish.

I know CentoHost.com (http://www.CentoHost.com) is great option where you can get dedicated servers at reasonable rates.
Their uptime and support have been excelent - they actually answer their emails, and within a few minutes!

Use servers from reliable and trustworthy hosting providers: hostingsource.com and hosting.uk.
They have many features as required by customers, they have on time support through live chat and this is very helpful for customers in need of instant help.

Well, okayservers.com server is also more stable and reliable than the host I had.
Top notch support, affordable pricing, and I haven't seen a bit of downtime.
