Hi Friends,

A shared hosting plan is intended for a single owner. No reselling is allowed on the shared hosting plans as it may affect other server users adversely. Only one control panel is provided for all the domains. A Reseller Hosting plan is for those who want to resell hosting.

Shared Hosting Accounts are meant for one owner and come with one cPanel. You can host unlimited domains on a shared plan by adding domains to the “Addon Domains” section of cPanel. Reselling is not permitted on shared hosting plans.

Reseller Hosting Accounts are meant for one owner who wishes to resell hosting and essentially act as their own hosting company. Depending on which reseller plan you choose, you can have anywhere from 10 to 250 separate cPanel accounts. So with a reseller account, you can set up each domain name with its own cPanel

Shared hosting is Web hosting in which the service provider serves pages for multiple Web sites, each having its own Internet domain name, from a single Web server. Most Web hosting companies provide shared hosting. Although shared hosting is a less expensive way for businesses to create a Web presence.

Reseller hosting is a form of web hosting wherein the account owner has the ability to use his or her allotted hard drive space and bandwidth to host websites on behalf of third parties. The reseller purchases the host's services wholesale and then sells them to customers, possibly for a profit.

A shared hosting plan hosts multiple accounts on a single dedicated IP address. They are usually used to save costs and space for hosting. Shared hosting is not very recommendable as they do not provide data security as the same space and IP address is shared between multiple clients.

Shared Hosting (https://www.accuwebhosting.com/web-hosting) has multiple client's websites for hosting. Shared Hosting is very cheap, limited storage unit, limited bandwidth,
limited email accounts, limited domains, etc. compared to VPS Hosting and Dedicated Servers.

A Reseller Hosting plan is for those who want to resell (https://www.accuwebhosting.com/reseller-hosting) hosting. The account owner can use his or her allotted hard drive space and bandwidth to host websites on behalf of third parties. The reseller purchases the host's services wholesale and then sell them to customers, possibly for a profit.

The primary difference lies in how each is used. With shared hosting, the resources you receive are yours and yours alone. Although you’re sharing the server with other clients, you cannot sell out any portion of your account to a third party.

Reseller hosting, on the other hand, allows you purchase space and bandwidth and ‘resell’ it to your own clients. Although you don’t control or manage the server on which the reseller accounts are maintained, you’ve full reign of your reseller clients through a master control panel. In essence, you’re running your own fully-managed, shared hosting service.

Shared hosting is good for personal use and have Cpanel. Reseller is good when you start own business and it has WHM which creates Cpanel accounts.
There are a lot of companies which can provide you both of them like rockhoster.com - so you can sign up and check and learn there.

Additional advantages to having a reseller account include:

The ability to have multiple IP addresses or multiple SSL certificates

(SSL certificates and additional IP addresses incur an additional fee).

The ability to control DNS zones.

The ability to use Private name servers.
The ability to use Anonymous name servers.
Brandable Control Panel.
