So I'm trying to find a logo designer, & a couple of them have said that you shouldn't use Photoshop, only Illustrator due to vector graphics.
So why are so many logo designers using Photoshop?
Which software do you think they should use & why?
Thanks

Yes Photoshop is one of the best software that you can use for designing a webpage and design logos also.

I use Adobe Illustrator and highly recommend it.
Some people use Affinity Design, CorelDraw, Inkscape or other vector based softwares. Generic graphic designers who haven't had vector experience tend to pull it off on softwares like AffinityPhoto, Adobe Photoshop and GIMP too.
It comes down to whatever software they have a good command over. Legend says one could even pull it off on MS Paint (RIP).
