VPS plans from scalahosting.com (https://www.scalahosting.com/cloud-servers.html) and asvhost.com (https://asvhost.com/virtual-servers/) are to my liking and I have to sign up with the best one, so which is that?

Their support and attentiveness are unparalleled in the industry. I seldom have issues, but if I do, they are right on it.

Try HostGator India's VPS plans. They have servers in US and India both. I used them for my clients based in India, US and UK. Hardly any difference when it comes to performance. Uptime and bandwidth were fantastic. You can also scale the plans once you feel you need to. No issues there either.
