Hey there!
The term 'meta keyword' refers to a type of meta tag that appears in the HTML code of a Web page to communicate its topic to search engines. The difference between meta keywords and regular keywords is that meta keywords appear on your source code, rather than on the visible, live page.

Meta Keywords are a type of meta tag that appears in the HTML code of a Web page and aids in informing search engines about the page's topic. Meta keywords differ from ordinary keywords in that they exist "behind the scenes," in your page's source code, rather than on the live, viewable page.

Meta keywords are HTML tags that were used in the past to indicate the main keywords or phrases that a webpage was optimized for. They were intended to help search engines understand the content of a webpage and improve its ranking in search results. However, today most of the major search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo don't use them to rank pages. The reason is that many webmasters would stuff the keywords into the meta keywords tag even if they were not relevant to the content of the webpage.
