Making two small web sites into one

HI,

Small business, that has two small websites, with EKM.

One does OK, the other not good, so as the better one, has space, thought the best way forward is to incorporate the two sites into one. BUT, I am told there could be complications when the web search engine see two different IP addresses at the one address, is this right.?

Any help to do this, oe Partitions, etc, would be helpful
