Hi everyone,

So I have a question that may seem basic but I am very new to designing.

I am creating my website and it is a must that I enable other users/visitors to be able to upload files, (images and text), However I have been told that this will open a can of worms regarding the security issues and the website being exposed to hackers. My priority is that users can navigate the website without having to worry about hackers or viruses. So how can I safely introduce the file upload function to my website without jeopardising the security of my website or users? I am am wanting to introduce file upload using a plugin as I have no coding experience.
