Alexa's Traffic Ranks are calculated using traffic statistics from Alexa's worldwide sample over a three-month period. The Traffic Ranks are updated on a daily basis. The ranking of a website is determined by a combination of Unique Visitors and Pageviews.
The number of unique Alexa users that visit a site on a particular day is used to calculate unique visitors. The total number of Alexa user URL queries for a site is represented by pageviews. Multiple requests for the same URL on the same day by the same user, on the other hand, are considered as a single Pageview. The site with the greatest number of unique visitors and pageviews is listed first.

The rank is calculated using a combination of the estimated average daily unique visitors to the site and the estimated number of page views on the site over the past 3 months. The site with the highest combination of unique visitors and page views is ranked as #1.
