Just curious when you’re working with dedicated servers what is the one thing that gives you the most headache?


For me, sometimes it’s juggling updates without downtime, or dealing with unexpected hardware issues. But I’m sure everyone’s got their own tough spots.


What about you? Would love to hear the challenges you face and how you usually handle them (or if you’re still figuring it out like me)!

Recently, I ran into an issue on two dedicated servers with hostpro.com. The problem was with the cPanel control panel and, as a result, some server services stopped working properly after the latest update. It turned out to be a widespread issue due to the cPanel update, but the support team stepped in quickly. They first helped roll back the update and then guided me through updating to a stable working version.

Now, my main challenge is managing backups – setting them up to run periodically and being able to restore them whenever needed.
