In today's world when everything is getting online being just a website designer is not enough. SEO is becoming part of designing in very convincing manner. At-least you should have knowledge about meta tags so that you can justify the pages created for the better search engine standing. Entrepreneurs are not pretty much friendly with seo. They think getting a website for their business is all but a designer must know being a web heads that website should have better standing in search engines too.

Website Design & Development Companies are adapting it very quickly for a better standing in this cut throat competition, Its better for individuals that they learn it as soon as possible.

Yes off course being just a designer is not enough because every person should be multy skilled and at peak level in one skill at least .....

Hey i know but designer is not what made IT popular it's programmers but the point is both are necessary in balance to make better IT world and yeah SEO knowledge is important too without SEO there is no IT :P
