A friend of mine is building a custom REST API with Node.js that will provide data to a mobile application. We're looking for a VPS that can handle API requests reliably and allow us to configure the server environment. Daily backups and DDoS protection are also essential. HostPro (hostpro.com) is one of the providers we're considering. Does anyone know if their VPS plans would be suitable for hosting a small API service?
