My development team wants to move some internal repositories and CI testing tools to our own infrastructure instead of relying entirely on third-party platforms. I'm considering setting up a self-hosted GitLab instance on a VPS. Obviously, storage, RAM, and CPU resources matter, but I also want daily backups and DDoS protection. hostpro.com is one of the providers I've found. Would their VPS services be suitable for running GitLab, and does anyone have experience with their infrastructure?
