Thread: VPS for a Website After Migrating from Shared Hosting

Default VPS for a Website After Migrating from Shared Hosting

The website has already started hitting the limits of standard hosting. I periodically experience high server load, especially when importing products and generating the cache.

I want to switch to a VPS. I’m looking at a minimum of 4 CPUs, 8 GB of RAM, and 100 GB of NVMe storage. Automatic backups, monitoring, and reliable support are also important.

One option is hostpro.com. Does it make sense to go with 8 CPUs and 16 GB right away so I don’t have to revisit this issue in a few months?

Would also recommend RightServers VPS hosting packages. No lag, no downtime, just excellent service and speed! Instant account setup. No waiting time. Start immediately!

The VPS specifications at HostPro.com are quite straightforward: KVM virtualization, guaranteed CPU and RAM resources, NVMe storage, and full root access. I like that the resources can be selected according to the actual requirements of the project. Tampa, Warsaw, and Amsterdam are available as server locations.
