I need a VPS primarily for an application with a fairly active PostgreSQL database. The application itself isn’t particularly CPU-intensive, but there are a lot of small database operations.

I have around €30/month to spend and would prefer the Netherlands. Hostpro.com caught my attention because their NVMe VPS plans are specifically positioned around fast storage, and they also use KVM virtualization.

Would you prioritize 8 GB RAM and NVMe storage over having more CPU cores for this type of workload?
